Amazon Interview Question
Software Engineer / DevelopersWell, undoubtedly there are a lot of similarities (especially the interface), as it was based off Outlook. I designed it though to fix a key problem in Outlook - namely that with Outlook (even with Exchange), you can't view calendars for people who aren't part of your organization. Fetcha was designed to be for the average user so that anyone can simply download it and use it to view other people's calendars and send/recieve meeting requests. For example, I used it to schedule a meeting between ten different people - far easier than having everyone send me their schedule and me trying to merge everything.
I am surprised they didnt ask you about why you chose to rip off Outlook feature for feature.
