Power consumption is directly dependent on Frequency of the processor.The higher the frequency the greater would be the power dissipation.Hence the one with higher power consumption works well due to the increased frequency as compared to the low power processor .

there could be multiple things.
The one benchmark running slow might be very memory intensive - hence running consuming less power than the other one.
