Anyone ever attended a technical interview for Java developer position in Goldman Sachs, Singapore. If so could you please share details about interview process like how many rounds it would be etc.? Would there be any test?| Flag | PURGE
I have attended the first round. It was a very basic screening with questions around core java like collections and threads synchronized etc. Now I have been invited 1 hr Java test. Has anyone got any info on this test? what would be the pattern etc? appreciate any info on this
- nash6137 July 25, 2014I am not having much hopes as the problem is very straight forward but I still couldnt complete it in time..yes JPMC is definitely one of the best companies to work for in Singapore and we need a thorough coding practice and vast knowledge of Java. Am in Singapore am not aware of any meetups happening, I often check Careercup for preparation. Actually your inputs have really helped, thanks for that but I couldnt fully capitalise on that.
- nash6137 June 23, 2014Finally I gave my test today. I couldnt do very well as I have not been able to generate expected output. Problem is they give us trades.csv and sourcesystems.csv and currecy codes.csv files. They want us to perform some validations on trades and batch them as per the next available batch (hourly or 6 hourly) and generate csv file with details like trade id, is valid, error, batchname. I couldnt manage time really well as reading CSV files itself has taken some time for me :-(
