Definitions are whatever we make them out to be, but to me "scraping" suggests gathering only a small subset of the information on a page (say, all phone numbers in a huge set of pages containing tons of other information), whereas "crawling" suggests some kind of comprehensive indexing.

Maybe some people define the difference by saying "scraping" is parsing the info of a page and "crawling" is the act of parsing the links of a page and following them to find more pages.
