π is the ratio of the circumference of the circle to its diameter. If space in the universe expands by k times, both the circumference and the diameter increases by k times, and thus their ratio remains constant. Hence, the value of π never changes.
The correct answer is (c). π – (22/7) is close to -0.001. π is an irrational number with a value of 3.14159265 accurate up to 8 decimal places wheras 22/7 is 3.142857142857142857.... π is a bit smaller than 22/7.
