Easy. Cut the cake in four pieces using two cuts. Then, align the four pieces next to each other and cut them all in one slice!

It's just about 2^3 . After you use your two first slices, you're at 4slices*2. You use that last slice to slice them all at once

1st cut 90 degree then at 180 degree (both this cuts were perpendicular to cutting table). Now u must be having 4 equal pieces. cut all of them from middle (parallel to the cutting table.).
U thus have 8 pieces .. all equal size

I had the same doubt .. here's the solution as per me :

1st cut : cut the cake into two half.
Now place the half part of cake symmetrically over the other half of the cake.
2nd cut : cut the pile from the middle .
Now u ll have 4 pieces of equal size.
Pile all of them up , one above the other .
3rd cut : cut the pile from the middle .now u get 8 equal pieces.. alll having CREAM

(Now dont say that cream ll get spoiled during piling. :P )

My solution is cut the cake in 4 equal parts using two cuts perpendicular to each other. then make the third cut, parallel to the base, through the middle of the cake. you get 8 equal parts and you don't need to spoil your delicious cake as well.. :)

cut the square into two equal rectangle from middle ..... ( 1st cut)

place the one rectangle above other rectangle as base.

now cut the cake again from middle(vertically) (2nd strike)

now cut the horizontally (third stike )..

now you get eight equal shaped boxes... rectangle.....

simple so simple....
