someone provide more details.. how to calculate the last k digits of a n^n and the begning k without having the need to calculate the entire number.

First K digits could be found by
1 value = N * Log(N) , Log = base 10
2 calculate the first k digits of pow ( 10 , value );

You will get the first K digits.

Last K digits = O( LogN ). calculate ( N pow N ) mod (pow (10 , K ))
