Static allocation:
1. Scope limited to function in which variable is defined
2. Exists right from the program execution
3. Allocated at compile-time inside stack. Fixed size.

Dynamic allocation:
1. Scope extends to the whole file, and needs to be manually deallocated by programmer using free()
2. Exists till programmer frees the allocation in code
3. Allocated at run-time, in heap memory.

"new" can be overloaded to avoid memory segmentation issues, especially for classes which keep recurring in time, but at random instants.

Possible reasons of overloading operator new
1. Doing time stamping
2. Allocate from a chunk of memory that is managed by the application itself.
