Batch File --> Data format such as:

1. ProductNumber -- Numeric

2. DiscountNumber -- Numneric

3. Date - Date Format



Assuming that ProductNumber only accepts numeric - Boundary or Equivalence condition and negative testing

Assuming that DiscountNumber only accepts numeric- Boundary or Equivalence condition and negative testing

Assuming that Date only accepts date format - Boundary or Equivalence condition and negative testing

1. Test Scenarios related constraints applicable on each column of batch file.
2. Since date column cannot hold data value less than current date , test scenario to validate it.
3. Test Scenarios for Invalid data format.
4. Test Scenarios related to size of the batch file.

5. Load testing - Multiple uploading the files at same time.
6. Volume testing - Subjecting the application to heavy volumes of data to determine the size of file it can handle with out degrading the application performance.
