Well for us to turn the data into information we need carefully craft some metrics/ variables
Search Variable : Topics being searched for along with synonyms-- so hotels las vegas will be equivalent to accomodation Vegas.
Search result index : what results were shown in the inherent order of relevance.
Option Selected : Which option/website was selected --- (1-10)very good relevancy index (10-20)good....20-30--average
Time taken to return to bing with a similar search : a longer time means the relevancy was high but if the user returns to bing and searches for the search variables again -- it probably means that the option selected was not good enough....
UserPersonalHistory: if the user is a registered user with MS-- one can try to collect keywords searched for over a month and see the average and median of these values to see what the user searches for frequently--- this can be then used to drive relevancy demands
