On a 32bit machine it will be 8 bytes ( 4 for int + 4 for vptr)
On a 64 bit machine it would be 16 ( 4 for int + 4 padding + 8 for vptr )

I found three errors in the code. a. Is example a class? Then 'void' should be 'class'. b. functionName should be followed by ( ). c. ';' after '}'.

2 bytes (int) + 4 bytes (virtual pointer to vtbl.)

On a 32 bit machine yes. On a 64 bit machine the result might be different. It also depends on data alignment as well. But the answers above are right. Might just be worth pointing out those details.
