Consider all the words as nodes of a graph and draw an edge between those nodes(words) that are synonyms. Now if you have to find the synonym of a word start from that word(node) and run BFS. That will give all the words that are connected to this word and hence synonyms to the word. Once you are ready with the graph of all the words, listing down the synonyms will only take O(m+n) time.
