Explain user that the change requested by him/her doesn’t improve application performance or functionality and suggest alternatives to the problem which user referred to. Convince user that we would take his/her change after consulting with all stakeholder of the application.

In such a case ask the client to document the requirement and tell them that this needs to be analysed before we could commit to do it

convince client he/she really mean the most expensive solution (maximize your company's sales)

In such a case, tell the client that this is not possible and back your answer with convince-able proofs.

Sometime we think something is senseless but actually not and sometime we think something is senseless and in actual it is senseless

in both case ask client to send a mail CCing your manager. That's all.
We can show the correct way to customer... if he/she is not agree.... no one can help on this.
