Yes, this is an example of function overloading. Overloading requires different argument datatype lists. "int, int, int" is different than "int, int".

The return type does not matter.

yes it works, but in case if you specify default argument like below

int fn(int a, int b,int c=0);
int fn(int a,int b);

then ambiguity error will be thrown if you call fn with below parameters.

fn(1,2);

Yes it works, but if you specify default values then you face ambiguity errors.

int fn(int a, int b, int c = 2);
int fn(int a, int b);

fn(1,2); // ambiguity error
