Inner, left outer, right outer, full outer, cross join. You can also use query hints like "left outer hash join" where hash denotes how you would like to hint the query engine compute the join. Other hints are loop, merge and remote. These are just hints so there's no guarantee the engine will use it.

other classification can be lossy join and losless join
(do tell me if it is wrong)

INNER JOIN are of 2 types :
1. Self Join
2. Equi Join


OUTER JOIN are of 3 types :
1. Left Outer Join
2. Right Outer Join
3. Full Outer Join
