Interview
having graduated from a very a similar "not well known" college, i would say there are many things over a period of time tht u cud develop tht wud seprate ur profile frm the rest...1open source contribution. 2. working in a startup. 3. good performance on topcoder, spoj or codechef competition...these matter more than colleges in my opinion. Although for freshers, there is slight advantage if u r frm a good profile, bt after 3-4 years of work ex, college hardly matters..ur skills do.. if u r thinking of highier studies, ur projects and research papers(if any) matters..and typicaly, u will get more exposure in a good college for this..else u may try internship at a good institute/company if u want to plan in this direction.
Try marketing your job experience and programming hobby projects more and your college days less. With time, employers will also care about your education less. Once you get a call, the rest is mostly about your skill in the technical interview. Once you get a call, your education doesn't matter too much.
