1) references are just the implicit pointers..got dereferenced automatically
2) u can not create the array of reference
3) u can not get the address of a reference
4)must be initialised..later u can not change it

call by reference is more simple than call by address(pointers).

reference is used to make clean codes.

as simple as reference is a constant pointer.

reference has to be initialized with a proper variable and it cannot be initialized with null. pointers can be initialized with null.
This property is very useful while passing parameters to other functions.
