The interviewer didn't want a general answer about how do you write a test strategy. He wanted the answer specific to how to test a "Text engine"
I replied to the interviewer that I will break the text engine into components like text renderer, etc. but I was not able to say much. he wasn't too happy and I got rejected.

Text engine? who is using this text engine, what is the purpose of this engine? what is that this engine needs to do exactly? before you answer his question you need to ask theses.
