Data segment - Even global variables go there

all uninitialized global and static goes into bss segment (gets initialized to zero )
all initialized global and static goes into data segment.

Program's static variables are stored in stack data structure
While Dynamic variables are stored in heap data structure

they are stored in the read/write part of the data segment. automatic variables go on the stack and dynamically variables created using malloc go on the heap
