An humble request to site admi...
but if we delete redundant questions...then we can revise all questions in a small span of time..
yes, thats true, I agree, can we make a code that can do this, it will a very good interview question, given a set of programming interview questions, detect copies of same question, and delete them or group them, it can be done manually though but that also would be difficult. But I agree that if it is done that would be helpful, better approach can be when some one is posting a question, he should check if that question is already there, if so do not post
First of all, I dont have privilege to do that... and I have some cool idea to do that.. If admin wants then i can share with him.
You can add me on vineetsetia009@gmail.com and we can talk on this. Also if you have contacts to admin then you can suggest that idea to him/her too..
1. Actually, I still know of a number of interview questions which aren't on here :).
2. There is still value in having questions that are duplicate. It shows (a) which companies are asking this question and (b) how commonly a question is asked.
3. That said, there could be some functionality to hide duplicate questions. But how do you detect duplicate questions? Even defining what is a duplicate question can be tricky.
4. There's some irony in the person who requested removing irrelevant posts posting this as an interview question rather than in the forum section (where it's since been moved) :).
This site has been here for quite some time and I think after having around 5000+ questions, there is very little possibility of getting a new question, so I think we should stop posting questions
